Engineered in Britain

GaraDry® manufactures premium plastic (PVC) and aluminium threshold seals and is proud to be a member of the Made in Britain organisation. Britain has a long and respected heritage of manufacturing excellence, and at GaraDry® we are committed to carrying that tradition forward.

Our focus is on world-leading design, precision engineering, and high-quality manufacturing. At the heart of everything we do is a highly skilled and experienced team whose passion for what we create drives continuous improvement and innovation. This commitment ensures every GaraDry product meets the highest standards of performance, quality, and reliability.

Plastic Profile Extrusion

GaraDry® specialises in the design and manufacture of its own branded threshold seal range, produced at our UK manufacturing facilities. Our thermoplastic (PVC) threshold seals are manufactured using state-of-the-art extrusion machinery to ensure precision, consistency, and durability.

Plastic profile extrusion is a continuous manufacturing process in which raw PVC material is melted and forced through a precisely engineered die to form the consistent cross-section of the threshold seal. As part of this process, we use advanced co-extrusion technology to incorporate high-visibility yellow guide lines directly into the seal.

Co-extrusion allows multiple materials or colours to be extruded simultaneously through a single die, creating one integrated profile. This ensures the yellow visibility lines are permanently bonded within the seal rather than applied afterwards. The result is a durable, long-lasting visual guide that will not fade, peel, or wear away over time.

Once extruded, each profile is cooled, cut to length, and packaged with GaraDry® adhesive, fixings, and fitting instructions, ready for immediate dispatch to our customers.

Aluminium Profile Extrusion

GaraDry® aluminium threshold seal profiles are manufactured using the aluminium extrusion process, in which heated aluminium billets are forced through a shaped die to produce strong, lightweight profiles with a uniform cross-section. This process allows us to achieve precise, consistent shapes that meet our exact performance and quality requirements.

After extrusion, the aluminium profiles are cooled and cut to size before undergoing further finishing processes. Each profile is then fabricated in-house, with all required drill holes added to suit installation needs.

Every aluminium threshold seal is assembled with its thermoplastic bottom water seal and packaged with fixings and fitting instructions. This ensures each product is fully prepared, boxed, and ready for dispatch, delivering a complete, high-quality solution to our customers.
