People's Telly Gold Winner: Online Commercials - People's Telly

Out of over 13,000 entries globally, GaraDry wins Gold in the 45th annual Telly Awards in the Online Commercials category. The commercial, titled “Meet Dave…”, was produced in collaboration with California-based The Sparkhouse. The concept sees a family man struggling to protect his home from water damage during a particularly heavy storm, but finally solving the problem with a GaraDry garage door threshold seal.

The commercial was trialled to positive feedback online and was announced amongst the winners in May ’24.

Amongst the winners were Calvin Klein, LinkedIn, NASA, PlayStation Studies, and MTV Entertainment Studios.

The Telly Awards – established in 1979 – is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Winners are selected in several categories, including Branded Content, Commercials & Marketing, Online and Television Series, and Social Video.

Entrants are judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council, an industry body of over 250 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks. Included this year were professionals from Adobe, Netflix, Shutterstock and Meta Creative Shop, among others.

The 45th annual awards honored work that pushed the boundaries of creativity ‘Beyond the Frame’, focusing on an exploration of possibility, by embracing new storytelling formats and cutting-edge technologies. New categories included Generative AI and Data Visualization, and included global entries from across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Past winners of the award include household names such as CNN, ESPN, Microsoft, NASA, Netflix, and Sony Music Entertainment.
